So He became as superior to the angels as the name He has inherited is superior to theirs.
[Taking a place and rank by which] He Himself became as much superior to angels as the glorious Name (title) which He has inherited is different from and more excellent than theirs.

thus proving Himself, by the more glorious name that He had been given, far greater than all the angels of God.
