Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,

And the love of the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity.

And because of the multiplication of lawlessness, the love of the many shall grow cold.

Because of the spread of wickedness the love of most men will grow cold,

and because of the increasing crime wave (lawlessness), most people's love will grow cold.
