And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

'You shall thus consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim a release (or, liberty) through the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, and (when) each of you shall return to his own property, and (when) each of you shall return to his family.
