But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine:

But as for you, speak the things which are fitting for sound doctrine.

You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine.

But [as for] you, teach what is fitting and becoming to sound (wholesome) doctrine [the character and right living that identify true Christians].

But as for you, be constantly speaking the things which are fitting to sound teaching:

Now you must tell them the sort of character which should spring from sound teaching.

You must continue telling the people what is proper for wholesome teaching:
