That in the dispensation of the fulness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him:

with a view to an administrate suitable to (of) the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in (upon) the heavens and things upon the earth. In Him

He purposed long ago in His sovereign will that all human history should be consummated in Christ, that everything that exists in Heaven or earth should find its perfection and fulfillment in Him.
so that, at the coming of the climax of the ages, everything in heaven and on earth should be unified through Christ,
