This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God).

But I say, Through the instrumentality of the Spirit habitually order your manner of life, and you will in no wise execute the passionate desire of the evil nature,

Here is my advice. Live your whole life in the Spirit and you will not satisfy the desires of the lower nature.

I mean this: Practice living by the Spirit and then by no means will you gratify the cravings of your lower nature.
