And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

What common ground can idols hold with the temple of God? For we, remember, are ourselves temples of the living God, as God has said: I will dwell in them and walk in them: And I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
And what agreement can a temple of God make with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, just as God said: "I will live in them and walk in them, And I will be their God and they will be My people."
