Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole ekklesia, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:

Then the apostles and elders, with the whole ekklesia, decided to choose some of their own men and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose Judas (called Barsabbas) and Silas, two men who were leaders among the brothers.

Then the apostles and the elders, together with the whole ekklesia, resolved to select men from among their number and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, [both] leading men among the brethren, and sent them.

Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders together with the entire assembly to send men who had been selected out of their own number to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, namely, Judas, the one called Barsabbas, and Silas, men who exercised leadership among the brethren,

Then the apostles, the elders and the whole Ekklesia agreed to choose representatives and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. Their names were Judas, surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, both leading men of the brotherhood.

Then the apostles and elders in co-operation with the whole ekklesia passed a resolution to select and send some men of their number with Paul and Barnabas to Antioch. These were Judas, who was called Barsabbas, and Silas, leading men among the brothers.
