Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of Man, then shall ye know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father hath taught Me, I speak these things.

Then Jesus said to them, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.

Jesus therefore said, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me.

So Jesus said, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am the One I claim to be and that I do nothing on My own but I speak just what the Father has taught Me.

So Jesus added, When you have lifted up the Son of Man [on the cross], you will realize (know, understand) that I am He [for Whom you look] and that I do nothing of Myself (of My own authority), but I say [exactly] what My Father has taught Me.

Then Jesus said, Whenever you lift up the Son of Man, then you shall come to perceive that I AM and that of Myself I do nothing, but even as the Father taught Me, these things I am speaking.

So Jesus resumed, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will realise that I am who I say I am, and that I do nothing on My own authority but speak simply as My Father has taught Me.

So Jesus said to them, "When you lift the Son of Man [on the cross], you will know that I am the Christ, and that I do nothing on My own authority, but that I say exactly what My Father has instructed Me to say.
