Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me.

"You search the Scriptures (or, Search the Scriptures! - imperative), because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is these that bear witness of Me;
You diligently study (or, Study diligently - the imperative) the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about Me,
You search and investigate and pore over the Scriptures diligently, because you suppose and trust that you have eternal life through them. And these [very Scriptures] testify about Me!
You are always searching the Scriptures, because, as for you, you think that in them you are having life eternal. And those are the ones which testify concerning Me.
You pore over the Scriptures for you imagine that you will find eternal life in them. All the time they give their testimony to Me,
"You keep on searching the Scriptures, for you yourselves suppose that you will get possession of eternal life through them; and yet they are witnesses that testify to Me,
