And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.

And he said to them, "Collect no more than what is appointed for you."

And he said to them, "Collect no more than what you have been ordered to."

"Don't collect any more than you are required to," he told them.

And he said to them, Exact and collect no more than the fixed amount appointed you.

And he said to them, Be exacting no more than that which has been prescribed for you.

"You must not demand more than you are entitled to," he replied.

So he said to them, "Stop collecting any more than is prescribed for you."
