But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

NKJV
"But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.

NASB
"But when the wheat sprang up and bore grain, then the tares became evident also.

NIV
When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.

So when the plants sprouted and formed grain, the darnel (weeds) appeared also.

And when the wheat stalk put forth leaves and produced fruit, then also the bastard wheat came to light and became evident.

When the crop came up and began to ripen, the weeds appeared as well.

And when the wheat plants grew up and yielded their ripened grain, the wild wheat plants appeared too.
